Health is a priority for athletes. Even if they do not participate in the sport anymore, it is important to keep one’s health in check. Regular check-ups and visits hold the utmost importance for an athlete. Although it can get cumbersome, a diagnosis is necessary. Bodybuilding legend and actor Lou Ferrigno echoes the same idea.

‘The Incredible Hulk’ star once posted a picture on Instagram where he was lying on a dentist’s chair. While Lou has been in good shape even after retiring from bodybuilding, he thought it would be a good idea to get checked. The icon talked about his experience in the caption.
Lou Ferrigno talks about teeth health
The picture showed the former bodybuilder sitting with a tissue over his chest and a goofy expression on his face. In the photo’s caption, he shared a fun fact about brushing one’s teeth. He cleverly played with words, calling the fact “Did you FerrigKNOW”. While he shared a fun fact about how the average American spent 38.5 days of their life brushing their teeth, he also confessed his feelings.
The star revealed that the dentist was not his favorite place to be at. While he might play the role of superhero fighting crimes, the ‘Hulk’ is not fond of being at the dentist’s clinic. It seems like the experience of visiting the doctor is intimidating even for tough-looking bodybuilders like Lou Ferrigno.
However, the bodybuilder set his fears aside for one reason. He said, “the dentist isn’t my favorite but I sure do like my teeth.” This stressed the importance of maintaining proper dental hygiene. While your mouth and teeth may be alright, it is important to get them checked nevertheless.
