Even in his 80s, the legend contributes to the bodybuilding community by sharing his knowledge and expertise on podcasts and social media. The latest post on his Instagram channel reveals some unknown facts about toning the abs.

The legend of bodybuilding said, “Eating the right diet and aerobic exercise can keep the subcutaneous fat layer thin, covering the abs.” However, only diet and exercise will not help in getting those perfect abs according to The Chemist. Apparently, there’s more.

Zane suggests concentrating more on abdominal exercise to develop six pack. “Unless sufficient abdominal exercise is done, the abs in right fashion, that six-pack won’t develop,” the proficient bodybuilder added in his post. And the image of his abs which is added to the post is proof that he did everything right to maintain such well-defined features.
Earlier, in an interview with Escape Fitness, Frank revealed that he used to stretch between sets. “I always did stretch between sets. I don’t think that many people do that.” He says that a set will help in muscle contraction and a stretch will allow muscle relaxation and thus keeps the blood in the muscle. Such valuable insights coming from the bodybuilding aesthetician could be of great use for rookie bodybuilders.
