Whenever Hollywood goes for a remake, comparisons are inevitable. In his long-standing Hollywood career, Arnold Schwarzenegger has played many iconic characters. However, the 1982 “Conan the Barbarian” was a film that got him recognition as an action superstar in the industry. Therefore, when the Game of Thrones actor Jason Momoa replaced him in the remake, it became a major headline in the media.

Arnold Schwarzenegger will turn 75 next month. This means many of his iconic characters will go through rebooting, and people will have to accept the fresh stories and new actors. However, one thing that will always intrigue the fans would be Arnold’s body stats compared with the actors replacing him in his movies. In the case of “Conan the Barbarian” it is with Jason Momoa.

Talking about chest size, Arnold’s chest measures 48 inches while Momoa (50) again leads by two inches.

The only part where Arnold scores a higher number is in his weight. The bodybuilding legend weighs 249 lbs, whereas Momoa weighs 234 lbs. Both of them have the same biceps size, i.e., 18 inches.

Well, it’s hard to compare their individual performances because the two films are 33 years apart. However, there are factors that can easily differentiate the quality of both films. For example, the new Conan had extensive wardrobe choices, a native English-speaking protagonist, and far more superior technology than the 1982 film.

However, no remake can ever match the charm of Arnold’s “Conan the Barbarian.” It’s one of those movies you would go back to watch again and again. Perhaps more than the movie, it’s about Arnold and his dominant days in the industry.
