A father imparting his working knowledge is considered a crucial part of a child’s growth into adulthood. And when that child is someone named Maximus Hall, it involves training with lots of heavy weights to build core strength. Recently, 10-year-old Maximus was training with his dad, a bodybuilding beast, where he did deadlifts, pull-down lats, and other workouts. He was clearly punching above his own weight but managed to impress his dad big time.

Eddie Hall and his son Maximus spend quality father–son time at the gym

Eddie Hall in his recent Instagram post shared a picture of him with his son Maximus working out on his biceps on a rhomboid machine. He wrote the caption alongside, “Teaching Max the Basics of Strength”, followed by asking everyone to check out the longer video on YouTube. He ended the caption with, “Big Love, The beast”.

Eddie Hall said, “Good job bro. That’s really, really, honestly, amazing. 8 reps of 60 kilos, 3 times… he’s on track to pull a 100 kilo, conventional. Which I think has got to be one of, if not the world record for a 10-year-old to a conventional deadlift, which is insane”. He was equally impressed after they finished the day’s workout as it had only been less than a year since Maximus started training. He said, “You’ve been training what? 6-7 months”. This isn’t the first time the father–son duo has spent time together inside the gym.
