The arm-wrestling phenomenon is gearing up for the upcoming East v/s West arm-wrestling competition in Istanbul. Larratt would challenge Genadi Kvikvinia in a right-hand super match on May 6th and fans are super-excited to witness the powerful event. The photo shared by Larratt ahead of the match went viral, leaving his followers awe-struck.

Larratt’s interest in arm wrestling piqued when he started to volunteer for his grandmother, who was considered to be Alberta’s best arm-wrestling woman. And since then there’s no stopping for this gem who has contributed immensely toward the popularization of the sport.

The arm wrestling legend started his preparation for the game long back and often gives a glimpse of it to his followers on social media. While adding a photo of his ripped physique and bulky biceps, Larratt reminded his fans of the countdown to the match in a recent upload.
The match is due in 10 days and arguably the No. 1 arm wrestler in the world is prepping extra hard reflecting which he writes, “Morning weight 282 lbs.” Revealing his excitement, he adds, “Can’t wait..” Apart from fans, two popular figures have arrived in the comment section to show their support for Larratt.
Hollywood, powerlifting, and bodybuilding celebrities send their wishes
The bodybuilding legend, Mike O’Hearn, landed himself in the comment section to drop a compliment for Devon Larratt. Mike O’ Hearn wrote, “SUPERHERO” referring to the Canadian arm-wrestler. The latter was super quick to reciprocate the affection as he replies,”u r the king buddy.”

Powerlifting star Larry Wheels posted a hilarious comment, “He’s shaking in his boots,” which immediately caught Larratt’s attention as he added the ‘Crown emoji’ as a reply. The duo combated in an arm-wrestling video back in 2020.

The fans were amazed by the 48-year-old transformation prior to the event as they wrote, “Wolverine of Arm Wrestling”, “ If Wolverine was a giant, you would be cast in every movie!”, and “ Just too much power. Too much.” Brazilian bodybuilder Fernando Sardinha also left an appreciative comment for Larratt. He wrote, “You are Incredible.” Fans will have to wait and watch whether Devon Larratt creates magic again.
