In a recent interview with Us Weekly, J. Lo capped off the importance of being fit in her life, “It’s no secret that fitness is a very important part of my life.” In fact, she believes there’s a “positive correlation between exercise and mental health.” The Hustle actress further elaborated on how a good balance in life can push someone to become the best version of themselves.
Evidently, this has been the case with the singer. It was a time when she suffered severe panic attacks that used to freeze her and she lost control of herself. Just then, a healthy lifestyle came to the rescue. The Second Act star religiously follows a meticulous diet and a well-maintained lifestyle to make an escape from her discomforts.
Moreover, the Get Right singer was a fan of kickboxing, circuit training, core work, lunges, and burpees. Even at 53, J. Lo is hitting the gym every day even after having a busy schedule. When asked about her changed life, the American singer stated she was fortunate enough to find her resort in working out way before her mental health could have hampered her lifestyle.

Losing her mind
Stress and lack of sleep have always been common problems for celebrities. Significantly, J. Lo was no exception to that. In a July 2022 newsletter, the Grammy nominee revealed how inadequate sleep resulted in her ruptured mental health and suffering from panic attacks. “one day, I was sitting in a trailer, and all the work and the stress it brought with it, coupled with not enough sleep to recuperate mentally, caught up with me,” the diva wrote.

The sudden attacks made her doubt herself, “I thought I was losing my mind. … Now I know it was a classic panic attack brought on by exhaustion, but I had never even heard the term at the time.” As soon as she consulted a doctor, Lopez came to know about inadequate sleep and huge stress has been the reason behind all this. Fortunately, it could be removed with a smooth lifestyle that she followed later on.
