In a previous YouTube video, Hall once opened up about a heartbreaking loss that turned his life upside down but was encouraged by Schwarzenegger. He was a competitive athlete since his young days and aspired to be an Olympian. The strongman aced several swimming championships as well. Unfortunately, his Nan’s passing away struck him hard, so much so that he was clinically diagnosed with depression. Eventually, he showed an inclination towards alcohol and drugs for comfort.
A dark phase followed. However, a glimpse of his childhood idol, Schwarzenegger brought him back to reality. He was reminded of his dreams and decided to straighten out his life. “If there’s one thing I’ve learned from Arnold, it’s that there’s a big difference between arrogance and confidence,” Hall let out in the video.
