Strongman pro, Hafthor Bjornsson has touched down on the greatest achievements within the strongman industry. However, a recent pectoral injury has him on bed rest until he recovers completely. Sharing an update on the matter, the athlete took to his Instagram handle to post a couple of pictures of his condition now. Bjornsson intended to portray it on an amusing note, as the “stages of his recovery.”

Likewise, the sports community flooded the comments section and wished for his good health and fast recovery. Even pro bodybuilder, Kai Greene decided to offer a solution for the athlete’s speedy recovery, along with other comments from notable personalities. 

Hafthor Bjornsson is good to go

As the source revealed, the 34-year-old icon had undergone surgery after tearing his pectoral muscle while bench-pressing 556 pounds of weight and was under expert medical supervision. However, marking the end of his concerning time, he shared the update with his followers. “The three stages of recovery,” his caption read while the three pictures had a story to tell. 

The first picture displayed the Icelandic strongman lying in his hospital bed, resting with his eyes closed. His left arm was supported by a sling overridden by medical wires and instruments. A sudden enthusiasm was seen in the second image. Bjornsson sipped on his energy drink, Reign Body Fuel with a straw, while giving a dramatic look, raising his eyebrow.

The third and final picture featured a smiling and seemingly recovered Bjornsson, sitting in his car holding an eatable. The gist of the story, a simple sip of the energy drink boosted his recovery, from being bedridden to happily going back home. This feat encouraged the 47-year-old IFBB pro to go with his narrative, and wrote, “EXTRA PROTEIN FOR SPEEDY RECOVERY”. Likewise, fans chimed in with their insights, expressing their concern for the star athlete.

Posted only 2 days ago, the update received overwhelming responses from the fans. One fan wished for the 6’9” icon’s recovery, while reportedly, undergoing their own. “Speedy recovery I’m recovering now from pectoral surgery as well,” the comment read. 

Amid other notable personalities even Hollywood star, Terry Crews wished Bjornsson for his good health. “Get well soon big man,” he wrote. Similar wishes swamped the section denoting their fondness for the athlete.
