Sharing an update on the matter, the athlete took to his Instagram handle to post a couple of pictures of his condition now. Bjornsson intended to portray it on an amusing note, as the “stages of his recovery.”

As the source revealed, the 34-year-old icon had undergone surgery after tearing his pectoral muscle while bench-pressing 556 pounds of weight and was under expert medical supervision. However, marking the end of his concerning time, he shared the update with his followers. “The three stages of recovery,” his caption read while the three pictures had a story to tell.

The first picture displayed the Icelandic strongman lying in his hospital bed, resting with his eyes closed. His left arm was supported by a sling overridden by medical wires and instruments.
