He currently is the team captain of bodybuilding.com while simultaneously being the host of his podcast, The Mike O’Hearn Show. After ruling the fitness world for nearly a decade, O’Hearn is a force to be reckoned with. He often uses his platform to instill the same level of hard work and dedication among his followers.

In a recent Instagram post, Mike O’Hearn had a motivational message for his fans. He spoke about the pros and cons of hard work and its limits. Moreover, with a beautiful caption, he subtly explained why he tries to motivate others.

On 31st March 2023, O’Hearn shared a video compilation on his Instagram. While clips of him working out or flexing his body in the gym and on stage played in the foreground, his voice-over carrying a powerful message played in the background. O’Hearn believes the fruit of hard work isn’t meant for just one show or competition but for a lifetime. He said, “The hardworking you put in the gym, may or may not win Mr. Olympia or a show. But what it’ll do is win life. Hard work will set you up for life.”

Additionally, he believes that people often overlook the long-term benefits of hard work. He further added, “And so I think there are side effects that people miss…stress to the body enhances it for a long time.” O’Hearn asserts that it’s more than just winning one battle, or hitting the gym regularly and dropping it right after achieving that one goal. Mike O’Hearn added, “There’s got to be some fight kind of still in you. The passion for what we do is still alive.”

Cryptically explaining why he cares about motivating others, he added in the caption, “The role of the artist is exactly the same as the role of the lover. If I love you, I have to make you conscious of the things you don’t see.” Mike O’Hearn has always been an advocate of hard work. He once revealed how Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson inspired his life philosophy.

In the post’s caption, quoting The Rock, O’Hearn wrote, “As the @therock always says ‘keep on the grind’.” He then went on to give the details of his current whereabouts to his fans and urged them to look forward to the project.

Not only did the fans appreciate the post, but it also caught the attention of the WWF star himself. Taking to the comments section he wrote that “Fortune favors the grinders.” Encouraging O’Hearn to continue his work, Johnson advised him to keep up with his grind.
