As far as bodybuilding is concerned, Arnold Schwarzenegger was born for that. However, being in movies was something he never planned. Hence, during his initial days in the industry, he had a lot to learn. Though one thing that makes Arnold stand out is his dedication to anything he does. Not to exaggerate, but the bodybuilding legend is indeed one of the most versatile human beings on the planet.
Mark Hamill’s advice to Arnold Schwarzenegger
In 2018, while praising the master Jedi a fan wrote on Twitter, “Every time I hear something ridiculous, I ask myself how would Mark Hamill respond?” In response to the fan’s statement, Hamil tweeted back, pointing out that he is not the ideal person to seek advice from. He wrote, “Arnold Schwarzenegger asked me for advice when he was just starting out. I told him to lose his accent for a wider range of roles and to change his last name, since no one could pronounce it.”

Hamil apologized to Arnold for his bad advice
Clearly, advice by Hamil was not in the best interest of Arnold. Hamil, on the hand, believed that the bodybuilding legend deserved an apology from him. However, Arnold said, “It wasn’t until years later that I realized it was a missed opportunity for me to ask YOU for advice.”
Well, in the entire incident, Hamill did raise an important point about Arnold’s last name. It’s indeed tough to pronounce. Though had he changed his last name, do you think he would still have made this big in Hollywood?
