Those who follow The King must have known that he had a fair share of struggle before reaching his heyday. While in college, Coleman opted for part-time jobs to satisfy his expenses. In fact, he didn’t have the slightest idea of seeking bodybuilding as a career, as he was earning a good amount as a cop in Arlington. However, Coleman took Derek Lunsford by surprise while mentioning his various jobs at the rookie age.

The interview was featured on Derek Lunsford’s official YouTube channel. Lunsford and Coleman were in a famous restaurant in the States. During the chat, the former Mr. O shared, “I’d get off from work at 11. I’d be at IHOP [the restaurant] at 12, every Saturday and Friday night. So even though I was working doing bodybuilding, I still had part-time jobs.” This indeed baffled the new-age bodybuilder as he counted, “Bodybuilder, police officer, lifeguard, and he worked at a breakfast diner, and a security…sounds like 28 hours in a day to me.”
