Chris Pratt had specific demands for Patrick Schwarzenegger
As the 25-year-old Patrick Schwarzenegger sat down to discuss his performance in his latest venture, ‘The Staircase,’ with guest host Sean Hayes, he had a lot to share. Talking about his brother-in-law and their show, ‘The Terminal List’, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son revealed how Chris Pratt guided him to perfect the role of his on-screen character, Donny Mitchell.
The young actor said, “Hey, there is this Donny Mitchell. You’ll be the youngest one in the platoon, but hey, man, I need you to go and try to get into the character.” Chris Pratt further demanded that Patrick gain 20 pounds and advised him to get the tactical training for the role.
For the unversed, the series, which sees Pratt and Patrick Schwarzenegger share the screen for the first time, is based on a book that is written by former NAVY SEAL Jack Carr. It follows James Reece, played by Chris Pratt, and his journey after his entire platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission.
