The Brazilian football prodigy, Pele was regarded as ?the greatest? to ever grace the sporting field of soccer. In his 82 years of glorious life, he immensely contributed to the world of sports through his reverent preachings. However, due to suffering from the chronic ailment of Colon Cancer, the legend left the world, leaving behind his legacy for the world to ponder upon. And, to pay him their eulogy, various celebrities, dignitaries, and athletes from every sporting arena came forward to express their heartfelt condolences.?

From former US President Barack Obama to actors Will Smith and Sylvester Stallone, everyone paid their sincere tributes to the demigod of football. Moreover, the bodybuilding legend, Lou Ferrigno also joined the forces to express his reverent eulogy to Pele.

On 29th December 2022, the Soccer legend, Pele passed away because of multiple organ failures. Forthwith his demise, his fans, and admirers came forward to express their pain. Likewise, the bodybuilding champion, Flex Wheeler, also shared his painful encomium for Pele by sharing his picture on his Instagram handle. Captioning the post, Wheeler wrote, ?You will be deeply missed, brother. Join me in showing respect to the GOAT?.

Interestingly, Wheeler?s fans and dignitaries from the bodybuilding fraternity joined him in expressing eulogies for the legend. The 71-year-old bodybuilder, Lou Ferrigno also wrote a heartfelt comment for the Brazilian. Comparing Pele?s nomenclature to his grandson, Lou penned, ?My grandson?s middle name is Pele. What a loss. Miss you man.?

Furthermore, Hollywood actor, Sylvester Stallone also took to his social media handle to pay tribute to ?the greatest?. Sly wrote, ?PELE THE GREAT! Rest in Peace! This was a good man!?. Moreover, showing his reverence for the footballer, former US President, Barack Obama shared the Brazilian?s picture and wrote, ?Pele was one of the greatest to ever play the beautiful game. And, as one of the most recognizable athletes in the world?. Obama further added, ?He understood the power of sports to bring people together?.

Will Smith’s Eulogy for Pele

Man in Black actor, Will Smith, also penned a message for Pele and shared his picture on his Instagram account. Smith wrote, “The greatest to ever do it”. Smith shared a series of pictures of him along with the Brazilian. And, interestingly, in one picture, Pele was seen playing football during his prime.

Clearly, the whole world got heartbroken past the demise of the ambrosial athlete. The legend may not be with us today, but his bequest still remains in the hearts of millions. His passing created a void in the world of sports. But at the same time, his influential ways and legacy will continue to pave the way for many aspiring athletes to come. Rest in Peace legend!
