

Kai Greene may have never formally won the Mr. Olympia title for himself. Yet he remains one of the most recognized modern-day bodybuilders. He gave a neck-to-neck competition to 7X Mr. Olympia winner Phil Heath. Though he missed the title by a few marks, he secured himself the runners-up title for three consecutive times.

Even though Kai does not compete professionally, he keeps up with his bodybuilding sessions. A social media sensation with seven million plus active followers, the ace bodybuilder remains one of the most active trainers. Constantly, he shares his working out videos to keep the fans motivated.
Kai Greene shares valuable advice with fans
Having seen life the hard way, Kai has imbibed the never-give-up attitude. Sharing his workout video with his Instafam, Kai wrote, “Every rep has a beginning, middle, end, and a lot of inches between.” He explains how the time spent doing the reps helps the person gain total control of the muscles.

However, he emphasizes that the will to keep going starts within. He advises to “Try intensifying the contractions of the muscle being worked.” He adds, “Rather than just dropping the weight down and blasting up, try and feel every inch being moved slowly.”
Speaking up from his experience, he also adds that “When you’re in tune enough, then even the smallest weight can feel heavier than before”. He thus advises his followers to “Take the time dedicated to working on yourself.” Kai has never announced his retirement formally, but since 2016, he has remained away from the bodybuilding stage.

Throwback to the time when Kai gave in his best
Kai defines modern bodybuilding. He loves his weights and lifts them with all his passion. He may have never witnessed the success he wished for, but his love for the sport remains uncompromised. Kai Greene began competing in pro bodybuilding competitions in 2005.

Preparing for the 2009 competition, he gave his best. Talking about his preparation, he revealed that he started training heavier than he used to two years back. While training, he never cared about how much was on the bar; all he focused on was lifting it with “full intensity.”
