Since joining the bodybuilding stage, Ronnie Coleman has surpassed many rivals and won eight Mr. Olympia titles. Many bodybuilding fanatics believe Coleman to be the most remarkable in the endeavor. However, Coleman is still considered the GOAT, despite his health difficulties.

From time to time, Coleman has revealed how he struggled in college due to his career. In addition, he described the time when he told his girlfriend about leaving bodybuilding in 1997.

His two double reps while squatting 800 pounds best illustrate his strength for those clueless about his feats. During an interview on ‘Don’t Be Sour’, Coleman stated how he shocked his girlfriend.
He stated, “I told my girlfriend hey look, I don’t need this. You know I’m done, and she kind of looked at me. And she said boy shut up, and I thought to myself, wait a minute, ain’t no quitter, and you know if I quit, I lose my membership to the gym.”
Of course, he wanted to graduate with good grades and top his class as he had done in bodybuilding. But ultimately, all of his challenges made his future more advantageous.
Ronnie forsook girls for graduation
During his bodybuilding career, Coleman encountered many significant challenges. To advance in his profession, he made several sacrifices. In addition, he gave up other things in addition to his bodybuilding profession for college.

Ronnie also had to say no to many girls at that time. “It was so many of the girls that I turned down that, uh, you know, want to hang out with me. Yeah, I mean, I like to do that, but I got started for the account exam. I’m gonna catch you next time most time, I just avoided it all together for the most part, and sometimes it’s easier, sometimes it’s hard.”

However, despite the name and fame, he earned for himself, the legend is struggling with health now. Ronnie ultimately underwent 13 surgeries for his spine, though. He also has difficulty because of the numerous nuts and screws inserted into his body.
