Chris Bumstead got a proposal at his worst time?
Like 2022, 2018 too was a very important year in Bumstead’s life. He lost Mr. Olympia that year due to some health reasons. Among other bad experiences, he got the chance to know about IFBB bikini competitor Courtney King, who formerly tried to get in touch with Mr. O. As she said,” I slid in his dms“. Bumstead laughs and adds, “Thats all you need to know, she hit me up in the dms and I ignored her for a while.”
Can you believe it? His future wife hit him up three times but he resisted despite having a crush on her. His being honest on social media about the failure is what attracted King the most, “He was very like vulnerable and open on his social media. He put up a video on YouTube of him crying and explaining kind of like what he went through. And, umm, I was like Oh my gosh this guy is like so freakin’ like sweet and like, humble.”
Bumstead was nostalgic and made fun when he said, “It was right after the Olympia so like I was bombarded by sh*t .. she hit me up and I lost, that’s the true queen thing”.
When CBum proposed Courtney king
