Shaun Clarida is one of the bodybuilders hailed as a potential winner of the Arnold Classic 2023. With the competition just a week away, Clarida is onto his last few workout sets. After winning 212 Olympia in 2022 for the second time, Clarida eventually geared up for the Arnold Classic. Since then, ‘The Giant Killer’ has been posting marvelous pictures of his prep phase. Recently, Clarida displayed exceptional improvement in his physique for the upcoming championship. 

A few hours ago, Clarida posted two pictures comparing his physique from Mr. Olympia 2022, with the one he’s prepping for Arnold Classic 2023. Through his pictures, Clarida hinted that he is leaving no stone unturned for the prestigious championship.

In his recent picture, Clarida showcased his mind-boggling shoulder muscles, which have grown wider as compared to his physique in Mr.Olympia 2022. Moreover, along with the caption, he gave it back to his critics, who would say that he could not improve anymore. Clarida wrote, “The ones that tell you that you can’t grow and improve in a short amount of time in between shows aren’t training hard enough and doing what’s needed to be better!”

The 40-year-old bodybuilder also added that in the first picture, he weighed 184 lbs, and in the second he was 192 lbs. Indeed, he has shown great finesse in the the last couple of months between Mr.Olympia 2022 and Arnold Classic 2023.

Moreover, since January, bodybuilding veterans have been discussing the potential of ‘The Giant Killer’. In one of the interviews, veteran Dennis James vouched for Shaun Clarida. 

Bodybuilding veterans on Clarida’s Arnold Classic participation

Shaun Clarida’s muscles may be creating a lot of hype on Instagram now, but a few veterans have been in his favor since January. During a podcast interview on Muscle and Fitness, retired bodybuilder Dennis James mentioned Clarida’s participation in Arnold Classic 2023. He stated in the interview, “He’s going to be so much better conditioned and he’s going to sneak in and he’s going to kill a few guys.”

James believed Clarida could out-condition his competitors easily, jeopardizing their winning chances. Moreover, in the interview, another bodybuilding veteran, Tony Doherty, agreed with James. He added that Shaun Clarida looked like the legendary bodybuilder Ronnie Coleman as he had the same kind of conditioning as ‘The King’.
