At first glance, Seth Feroce may come across as a pro who dedicated his life to bodybuilding. Feroce has been competing in various bodybuilding shows for over a decade. Born in Lower Burrell in Pennsylvania, Feroce didn’t always have a passion for pumping iron. Nor did he set his sights on becoming a champion bodybuilder at a young age.

In fact, as a kid, Feroce was quite the opposite. His peers bullied him about being overweight. However, the constant teasing and bullying compelled Feroce to change his life. Now, at 31, he has amassed over a million followers across his social media handles. In a recent YouTube video, the IFBB pro bodybuilder shared a special recipe he called “Seth’s Shake”.

The 800-calorie protein shake

On October 5, Feroce uploaded a video on his YouTube channel titled “My 800+ Calorie Morning Shake”. In the final section of the video, the IFBB pro showed his subscribers how he made the 800-calorie protein shake. Feroce broke the recipe down step by step and showed each ingredient. He also shared the exact amount and caloric information of each ingredient.

First, Seth used one scoop of the meal replacement named “Homemade” by his own supplement company, Axe & Sledge. He added one scoop of Farm Fed protein powder and 3/4 cup of Oats. Finally, Feroce mixed all the dry ingredients into a blender to an almost flour-like consistency.

Then came the wet ingredients. Feroce added some milk, an average-sized banana, and one tablespoon of peanut butter. After mixing everything in the blender again, the protein shake was finally ready.

Feroce was also generous enough to list the detailed caloric information of the drink. “Seth’s Shake” as he calls it, has 815 calories. It has 61 gm of protein, 103 gm of carbs, and 19 gm of fat. However, most of the calories came from meal replacement and oats.

How Seth started his bodybuilding journey

Feroce’s friends nicknamed him ‘Chubbs’ as a constant reminder of his weight problems. However, Seth had had enough and began working out. His father noticed the change and helped his son. He bought Seth sand-filled weights and encouraged his son to work out. Seth also started playing football and practiced wrestling.
