What happens when a Norwegian rock climber-turned-YouTuber and a former English strongman get together for a climbing session? It creates an exciting and thrilling adventure, uniquely enjoyable for both of them. While the Englishman won the World’s Strongest Man competition in 2017, the Norwegian has had his fair share of glories. Such as bronze medals in Lead climbing at the World Games and World Cup. The two met recently to climb a hangar, and here’s how it went.

The Englishman posted the video on YouTube and has also posted about it on his Instagram account. Weighing 370 lbs, the world’s strongest man also showed his athletic prowess during this interesting occasion.

Eddie Hall and Magnus Midtbo are the two resounding names in their respective profession. While Midtbo has had a successful career in rock climbing, winning competitions, Hall, on the other hand, has won multiple strongman competitions in England, besides his World Championship victory in 2017. The two coincidentally retired in the same year, 2017.

Midtbo, who has previously made a YouTube clip of his girlfriend reacting to his free solo climb after breaking a promise, has collaborated this time with Hall to create this engaging content. Hall started the video by saying, “Today is something interesting. It’s world’s strongest man tries climbing'”. He subsequently posted on Instagram, writing, “Rock climbing at 170 kg bw. Only allowed to use the blue rocks”. Utilizing only the single-colored rocks to climb is what makes it interesting.

The climbing wall is designed with rock-shaped entities protruding out from the crevices. These entities are used to hold a firm grip and climb on the wall. They are of various colors, and to make it more interesting and tough, A.K.A. real-world-like, only the ones of the same color are to be used for the climb. While the gray-colored rocks are the easiest, the level of toughness goes up with green, orange, and blue, and the toughest is black.
