Robby Robinson is a legendary bodybuilder from the golden era. In a nearly three-decade-long career, Robinson has experienced almost everything about bodybuilding. His aesthetically built physique made him one of the legendary figures of the sport.

Robinson commenced his pro career back in 1975. Moreover, he was immediately on point. In his debut year, he won Mr. America, Mr. World, and Mr. Universe titles. Moreover, he also defeated legendary bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno in the 1994 Master Olympia to win the title. However, he couldn’t win the Mr. Olympia title in his 26-year-old career. Recently, Robby revealed why he never used anabolic steroids in his bodybuilding career.
Robby Robinson explained his ignorance of the steroids
The use of steroids was pretty common in bodybuilding at the end of the 19th century. Relatively, every bodybuilder took it as no one wanted to be left behind in the competition before even participating. However, Robby was one of the bodybuilders who ignored the steroids and pursued bodybuilding 100 percent natural.
While discussing the use of anabolic steroids in bodybuilding, Robby said, “So by the time I really got into bodybuilding per se, competing in the big leagues. I’ll be honest with you; I didn’t know there were anabolic steroids in bodybuilding.”
He continued, “I built my physique from just straight food, hard work, discipline, posing — when I came here in ’75, I knew something was in the milk wasn’t clean, but I didn’t know what. So, I didn’t ask anybody because everybody is a little private,”
Robinson continued to stand firm in his belief

Robby added, “Honestly, I had no idea you had to use something to build your body. I thought it was God’s gift. You have everything in that body to build that body. I really believe that to this day.”

Robinson liked to improve his body naturally, with his hormonal system and natural boosters like the adrenaline and testosterone the body secretes. Moreover, he believed one could build a classic physique with natural food, discipline, and perseverance.
