Arnold Schwarzenegger and Franco Columbu shared a strong bond between them. The roots of their friendship grew long back in time. Sylvester, on the other hand, met the former boxer Franco in 1977 when he was looking for a chiropractor.
Not long ago, a beautiful photo of the three muscle men was posted on Instagram. It captured Arnold, Stallone, and Franco laughing, talking, and working out. It was clicked during their golden era of bodybuilding in the 70s and 80s at Muscle Beach Venice. (3/6 picture of the Instagram post below)

Back then, Sylvester Stallone was preparing himself for his roles as Rocky and Rambo. Franco helped him gain muscle with the help of several exercises. It involved abs training, unique barbell movements, and whatnot. Initially, Stallone had a lean athletic look, but his transformation after training under Franco was phenomenal.
Two years ago, in 2019, Franco left the two behind after taking his last breath at 78. It was devastating and painful for both Arnold and Stallone to put up with that. The two even paid a heartfelt tribute to the legend through social media.

After the news of Franco passing away reached Arnold’s ears, he uploaded an overwhelming post dedicated to his late best friend.
“I love you Franco. I will always remember the joy you brought to my life, the advices you gave me, and the twinkle in your eye that never disappeared.” the caption read. “You were my best friend.”
