A known name in modern-day bodybuilding, Jay Cutler, was the man to halt Ronnie Coleman‘s winning streak. Known for his body aesthetics and impeccable physique, Cutler’s ripped body was not the result of one day’s work. He took over two decades to build his monstrous body, beginning right from his teenage days. Although Cutler has now retired, his passion for the sport remains unquestioned.

In his recent Instagram story, the four times Mr.Olympia champion shared some pro tips that can be effective for those who are looking to make their waist look small.

Jay Cutler gives important tips

Taking the issue of ‘gut health,’ the IFBB champion pointed out how one would feel bloated and hold more water around their waist if they had a gut problem. According to him, neglecting gut health would do no good and only impact the body’s aesthetics.

Cutler advises his followers to find out the root cause of the problem. For those looking for some directives, he reveals that probiotics, digestive enzymes, and green veggies are a great place to start.

Further, Cutler adds that one needs to take a count and cut down on sugar, caffeine, and processed grains intake. During his professional days, he was known for eating 140 egg whites daily and created a lot of buzz about his dietary habits.

A look back at Jay Cutler’s diet during his prime days 

With a 58″ chest,  34″ waist, and 5’9″ height, Jay Cutler’s physique was remarkable. Apart from strenuous workouts, he also gave special emphasis to his diet. For the fitness champion, in bodybuilding, “the food is everything.” Cutler would buy around 140 lbs of chicken and give a significant weightage to protein in his diet.

Speaking about one such instance, he confessed, “I’d actually buy all the meat, and I would have two freezers.” Even though he has retired, he is not negligent towards his health.
