According to the star bodybuilder, “The most important thing about nutrition is protein because protein is what builds muscle.” Therefore, his diet would contain a whopping 65% protein, along with 20-25% carbs, and 5-10% fat. This he achieved with the help of a wide variety of foods, ranging from egg whites to chicken, cornbread, and filet mignon.

How Ronnie became a star bodybuilder

Along with an insane diet, Ronnie also worked hard on his training routine. Multiple sets of weight training combined with the usual arm and leg workout helped him get bigger. Although he won 8 consecutive Mr. Olympia championships, he called it quits after suffering from serious back injuries. While Ronnie has undergone multiple surgeries after his winning feat, he is still incomparable.
