The 14 months wait eventually came to an end on 16th December 2022. The bodybuilding fans finally got to witness the mighty show of massive bodybuilders in different categories of Mr. Olympia 2022 on day one of the competition. However, the participants in the Men’s Open bodybuilding category in Mr. Olympia once again took away the show with their excellent physiques. From Big Ramy to Blessing Awodibu, all 33 qualified bodybuilders have put on a tremendous show of flexing in the pre-judging round.

Without a doubt, the reigning champion, Big ‘Mamdouh Elssbiay’ Ramy, was one of the show stealers. However, as predicted by the former bodybuilding champions, Ramy has got some superb competition this year. With Hadi Choopan, Brandon Curry, and Derek Lunsford in the line-up, the competition looks thrilling.
Although the subjective nature of judgment in bodybuilding makes it pretty unpredictable, Ramy looked in his best shape yet again. Other than the top-3 of last year, let’s see the bodybuilders who created an impact in the pre-judging round.

Moreover, Samson Dauda needs special appreciation. As Dauda wasn’t predicted to be in the top choices, but he made an incredible show in the pre-judging round. It will be interesting to see what awaits in the finals.
