Bodybuilding beast, Phil Heath annihilated the Mr. Olympia stage for seven years since 2011 and never considered losing as an option. Likewise, his recent post on Instagram iterates the same with a bold message. While most fans drooled over his ideology and the winning bits, a particular user’s comment piqued his attention. 

Emphasizing his iron will and winning mindset, the seven-time Mr. Olympia set the mood for an overflow of fans’ reactions bowing down to the athlete for his greatness. However, he also chose to respond to the user’s opposing remark with a critical stance.

As per the social media update, the 43-year-old athlete shared a video from one of his iconic Mr. Olympia performances, after years of on-stage absence. Hence, the comments section blew up with applause. Snoop Dogg’s hit number, It’s D The Only Thang tuned into the background syncing with the vibes, while his caption read, “WINNING IS THE ONLY THING- 7X.” Amidst the overwhelming response, one follower opposed his caption with a pessimistic comment.

“No! Its about participation and 2nd place is also good,” it read. Surprisingly, Heath was determined to cancel any such contrasts and replied, “You must not like winning. Participation trophies are for losers.” The icon’s reaction strongly rehearsed his caption, while also condemning the follower on a personal note.

Although his statement regarding the participation tokens could be a point of debate. Regardless, Heath received immense support even under the user’s remark. In less than 14 hours, the post amassed 133k views and countless hails. “Incredible muscles !! Go for 8th than 9th and than 10th and be the first to create a history!!,” another fan wrote. Nevertheless, the Seattle native hasn’t graced the bodybuilding event since 2020, and here’s why.

As per sources, the IFBB pro underwent surgery in lieu of a severe injury. Moreover, the athlete has been subject to an ample amount of injuries that most likely affected his career thereon. Apparently, Heath competed in the 2020 Mr. Olympia and was placed third. 

Following that, he also fell victim to the dreadful coronavirus that further deteriorated his physique. However, Heath once addressed his absence and claimed that he’ll be back to competing in 2023!
