“People Were Screaming and Running”: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Little Experiment Caused Chaos in a Restaurant During the Making of Terminator

Having five Mr. Universe and seven Mr. Olympia titles, Arnold Schwarzenegger is a dominant name in bodybuilding. Arnie’s love for bodybuilding started young. However, he was never restricted to just bodybuilding. A man of many credits, Arnold amassed worldwide fame once he stepped into the entertainment industry.

A Hollywood veteran, Arnold is best known for his action movies. While promoting one of his most iconic films, The Terminator, Arnie opened up on his exciting experiment.

Arnold’s Experiment for The Terminator 

Getting into the role of Terminator was not easy. Sitting for four hours of makeup, putting on all the costumes, and then playing the part was difficult. While playing a role, actors often get attached to the characters, which was perhaps the case for Arnold.

Playing the role of “half robot and half human” in the role, the real Arnold decided to play a prank. Dressed up in his Terminator clothes, Arnie decided to visit a restaurant. Walking up to the place, he said to the waiter, “I would like to make a reservation for six on the Terminator.”

As Arnie said, seeing him in that attire, the waiter “freaked out.” However, it was not just the waiter but also the other people who got scared. Narrating the incident, he said, “the people around him were screaming and running in other way.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger: The Master of Pranks

If pulling pranks is an art, then Arnold is the artist. Known to execute his pranks to utmost perfection, Arnie was a real troublemaker on the sets. His prank in Gold’s Gym and Madame Tussauds is well-known. However, getting away from the mischiefs was not always possible.

During the shoot of “Twins,” Arnold and DeVito had a great time on the set and the two joked with one another. On one occasion, Arnie messed up with the lines and stood blank at the cameras. The prankster thanked that the incident happened on the sets of “Ivan’s movie.”
