Masters Olympia 2023 will be taking place from 25th to 27th August at BTarena in Cluj Napoca, Romania. Fans have been excited since the announcement in November last year. However, there is little to no information about the participants of the contest. However, after the interview with Chris Aceto premiered, Cutler’s absence on stage sounds certain. Looking at Cutler’s pumped physique and his training videos on social media platforms, fans were eager to see him on stage. However, Aceto put rumors to rest and clarified how the work is all for his personal gains and targets.

When Palumbo asked him about the chances of Cutler competing in the competition. Aceto said, “Oh God, stop promoting that Masters Olympia. I want to pull the plug on it the more I think of it.” As he mentioned Cutler’s age and dedication towards staying in shape, they watched the 4x Olympia champion’s recent clips, and sat in awe as they watched his massive muscles.

Aceto continued, “No, he loves discipline, he loves the process, he’s creative, he likes setting goals, he likes accomplishing goals, he loves business. And he likes… doing cutting-edge things that–I mean, how many former Mr. Olympias would do an ‘I’m going to get in shape at 50.’” While strictly denying the chances, he further added, “Never. Not even a–on a scale of 1-10, it doesn’t register in his brain for doing a masters show or any show. No. I’m sure his take is the same as mine. That’s why I rant on the Olympia.” So, what are Aceto’s reasons for not being in favor of Masters Olympia?

Chris Aceto’s argument against the legendary contest

The return of Masters Olympia is a big deal for bodybuilding fans. However, bodybuilding guru, Chris Aceto, feels that the contest is pointless. As they finished talking about the absence of Jay Cutler in the competition, Aceto disclosed that Masters Olympia isn’t worth it for bodybuilding veterans to reverse their retirement. To establish his point, the coach compared bodybuilding to other major sports in America.
