Despite retiring, Jay Cutler is still passionate about bodybuilding and has undertaken the ‘Fit at 50’ challenge. On turning 50 in August 2023, the bodybuilder wishes to achieve a phenomenal transformation and is stepping up his training efforts at the gym.

While talking with Manager Matt in this 72nd episode of Cutler Cast, the bodybuilder disclosed his biggest competition while training for the ‘Fit for 50’ challenge. Describing the stringent dietary measures he had taken ahead of his 50th birthday on 3rd August 2023, Cutler hinted at how he was prepared to make sacrifices to build his physique.

In the podcast episode uploaded on YouTube on 12th April, Cutler admitted, “I’m just not satisfied with how I look now.” Explaining how he was still lean, the bodybuilder told how he had given himself a deadline of 12 weeks to get in shape. While talking about how he was reducing his coffee intake and following a strict nutrition program. Cutler hinted that he was his biggest competition. “The fit for 50 challenge is me against me,” he said, adding that he wished to be in his best shape since he retired in 2013.

Further, he related how he planned to document his entire body transformation for this challenge, where he planned to showcase his physique. In an earlier video on his YouTube channel Jay Cutler TV, the bodybuilder had further elaborated on his exciting plans for fans.

“I’m actually going to show my body in the poses as they lead up, wow!” Later, he also implied that he will share the changes in his physique in the last 12-16 weeks prior to the Masters Olympia on his YouTube channel. With these revelations, the bodybuilder also shared a special announcement for fans.

Post this, Cutler also shared his experiences after retiring from bodybuilding in 2013. Talking about how every day was a challenge, Cutler expressed, “I don’t think that I’m doing a necessarily better job than anyone else.” Continuing, the bodybuilder suggested that despite not necessarily performing his jobs well, he was happy with the success he had achieved, later referring to his 4.9 million Instagram fans as proof of this fact.
