Flex Wheeler was mesmerized by his elegance

In March 2020, Flex Wheeler appeared on the 446th episode of a podcast by Valuetainment. In this episode, the 4x Arnold Classic winner not only opened up about his life after surgery but also discussed various other topics. Flex Wheeler has been a stunning bodybuilder. Naturally, people are curious about his workout style and who he looks up to.

Following on that line, during one of the segments in the podcast, Flex was asked if there was someone whose style he paid attention to. Flex started by saying that there was not just one bodybuilder, in particular, he looked up to. He added that since he came from a martial arts background, it was easy for him to pick up whichever skills suited him from various bodybuilders. However, there was one in particular whose elegance caught his attention.

Elegant isn’t something you’ll picture a bodybuilder as. However, shyly explaining his point, Flex had said, “I hate to say this Jesus christ man. Shawn Ray. Yeah, Shawn Ray because of the elegant way he posed, cause we’re kinda looked out as Buddhist on stage kind of like the ‘Incredible Hulk’ , just massive. And he was very elegant on stage and I liked that because I come from a martial arts background.”
