It’s six more days before the start of the biggest bodybuilding event, Mr. Olympia. As participants worldwide are ready to showcase their physiques, bodybuilding fans are excited to see their favorites grace the stage. Adding more to the excitement ahead of the sporting fiesta, defending Champion Mamdouh Elssbiay, aka Big Ramy, sits for a podcast with Ronnie Coleman.

As two bodybuilding giants sat to discuss the upcoming event and the intricacies of the big event, the big names came to a mutual agreement. Even though they come from two different eras of bodybuilding, the two find common ground to express their agreement.

Ronnie Coleman and Big Ramy agree on a point

As Mamdouh Elssbiay sat for a podcast, he revealed how he has been in Vegas for the last eight years. Getting excited to return to the stage again, Ramy states that he has also been to other places. Adding more, he says, “I have been to Helsinki, Atlanta, Los Angeles, a few other Chicago.”

However, the bodybuilding champion who comes from the land of Pyramids asserts, “No place is better than vegas.” This was when yesteryear’s bodybuilding champion Ronnie nodded his head in agreement. As a 2021 Champion alongside Brandon Curry, Big Ramy has already qualified to enter the 2022 Olympia in the Men’s Open Division.

As he gives a direct message to his competitors, Big Ramy states, “I’m sharpening my weapons to defend my title in Las Vegas! 💪.”  When Elssbiay entered the IFBB Pro League, he weighed somewhere between 285 to 310 pounds. The King was the only other Olympia winner to rival his monstrous size. During his prime, Ronnie was around 298 pounds. Interestingly, Chad Nicholas, who earlier trained Coleman, now coaches Big Ramy.
