Bodybuilding is one of the sports where you have to wait with patience for your time to arrive. Very few have managed to just arrive and take the stage by storm. Even 8X Mr. Olympia title winner, Ronnie Coleman, took around six years to win his first title. Indeed, bodybuilders have to hang around and keep working on themselves.

Nick Walker made his first appearance in Mr. Olympia 2021. Even though he finished fifth in the competition, he turned several heads with his massive biceps and serious physique. Moreover, he will be once again presenting his challenge for the 2022 Mr. Olympia title.
Nick Walker is lifting some serious weight in the gym
Nick Walker won the 2021 Arnold Classic and had a good performance in Mr. Olympia as well. This time around, he could give some serious challenges to Big Ramy in the upcoming month (December 16-18, 2022). We will have to wait for the next month to know the results, but, surely, it will be interesting to see how Nick performs.

After standing fifth in last year’s competition, Nick hadn’t competed in any competitions this year. He had been seriously working out, perfecting his physique for Mr. Olympia 2022. Recently, Walker uploaded a YouTube video where he was seen lifting some very heavy weights.
In the YouTube video, Nick was doing a bench press with 180lbs dumbbells. However, Nick lifted 90lbs to warm up and kept increasing weight in every set. In the second set he took 120lbs, then 150lbs and eventually he hit 11 reps of bench press with 180 lbs.

We are all born the same way. However, everyone has their own innate talents. Moreover, we pursue those talents to become successful in life. In Nick’s case, indeed, he wasn’t born with those massive arms, but he worked hard to get the physique that he has today. Nick once said, “They were always lean and defined, with a bit of natural size.”

However, he didn’t think of measuring it before, but when he did, at his off-season heaviest weight, it was 24″. And that means he had bigger arms than Ronnie Coleman. The future of Nick looks amazingly promising. He is eagerly awaiting for the 2022 Mr. Olympia to make his mark.
