These days it doesn’t take long for an experiment to become a trend because of the reach the internet has. On that note, a certain trend is gradually taking over the bodybuilding world. However, not everyone is ready to welcome it with open arms. One such member of the bodybuilding community is Nick Trigili. Recently, the former Mr. USA uploaded a video on YouTube calling out the bodybuilders for taking up a peculiar habit.
Different bodybuilders try different techniques to get themselves in the perfect shape for the contests. They need to be on a strict diet to achieve their goal, which at times includes more than three meals a day. However, some bodybuilders have found a way around it, where they don’t have to force feed themselves the food, but they also don’t miss out on the nutrients. But Trigili claims these methods aren’t as effective as these bodybuilders believe.

On 3rd February 2023, BodyBuilding & BS uploaded a video featuring the IFBB Pro bodybuilder Nick Trigili. Trigili condemned bodybuilders for picking on the trend of blending their food. He said, “If you guys pick up this stupid habit, you are not going to become a pro bodybuilder like Martin and Hunter because you’re blending your food. You know why?” He further reasoned that it is because of the difference in genetics.
After naming the bodybuilders who blend their food, he said, “I mean how many bodybuilders it gonna take before they realize this is not a bright idea.” Talking about the protein shakes, he added, “Yes there is a play space for protein powders. I am not anti-protein powders I am anti-living on supplements.”
This isn’t the first time this bodybuilding entrepreneur has raised his voice against something he felt was wrong in the bodybuilding world.

Bannout and Hansen pointed out how the big stage and lighting hampered the visibility of the participants for the audience. To this Trigili added that the audience isn’t paying the huge amount for the tickets to come and watch the LED lights. Instead, they are there to see the bodybuilders, and that’s what they should get to see.
