Once there was a time when the bodybuilder came forward with supermodel Gisele Bündchen and her footballer husband, Tom Brady, for a noble cause. The noble cause was National Geographic’s ‘Years Of Living Dangerously,’ which premiered on September 21, 2016.

The American Years of Living Dangerously television documentary series is a chaotic climate change framework. Its first season was aired in 2014, then the second season premiered in 2016. Arnold was the executive producer in season one’s first episode of the Emmy award-winning series.
In the second season’s fourth episode, Arnold was seen doing a survey on military adaption to climate changes and how the risk of energy deficiency can decrease. Meanwhile, the Brazilian supermodel Gisele explored the damages and risks of extreme deforestation in her native areas. As Gisele and the Austrian-Oak took the initiative, there was also a viral youtube video where both were seen urging people to watch the show. They said, “Our wonderful show the years of living dangerously, watch it (Gisele added) Watch it. It’s very important we need to come together.”

Meanwhile, speaking to The Globe and Mail, the seven-time Mr.Olympia elaborated on the advantages of Nat Geo’s initiative. “I think the environmental movement only can be successful if we are simple and clear and make it a human story. We will tell human stories in this project,” he said.

The series showed the well-acknowledged journalists and activists exploring the background of the environment. Also, it features many interviews and descriptive solutions that can have a major positive effect on climate. The director of the series James Cameron commented on the initiative.
In addition, he said, “We didn’t use our celebrities as talking head experts because they’re not climate experts. They were concerned, intelligent, curious citizens who were out to find answers. They were functioning as journalists.”

Apart from Schwarzenegger and Gisele, many other famous activists for climate change and global celebrities collaborated with the documentary. The list includes Barack Obama, Narendra Modi, and Ian Somerhalder.
