The tweet that poked the anger in the athletes

Buffalo Bills’ safety, Damar Hamlins, collapsed on the field when he tackled the receiver Tee Higgins from Cincinnati Bengals. Hamlins suddenly stood back but fell unconscious soon after that. The medical team immediately took emergency measures and later took him to the hospital. While everybody, including the sporting world and others, was folding their hands for prayers, an insensitive tweet from Skip Bayless poked the anger in the sporting community.

Skip Bayless tweeted, “No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.”

Whereas the NBA superstar, Isiah Thomas, tweeted, “I hope they fire you bro!!! For you to even THINK of the game is very sad.”

Moving on, the football player Logan Cooke got furious and tweeted, “This is the most inconsiderate thing you could have said. We are human beings not just numbers. You’ve obviously never stepped foot in a locker room or been apart of a family like this. We are a band of brothers! Get over yourself man… Praying hard for Damar and his family!”

Moreover, Hamlin’s teammate, Tim Settle Jr., tweeted, “Shannon been checked you bout how you talk learn how to stfu.”
