After 11 years, Masters Olympia will be returning this year. The previous edition of the competition was held in 2012 in which Dexter Jackson, the 2008 Mr. Olympia, won the title. In 2023, Masters Olympia will be organized at BTarena in Cluj Napoca, Romania, from the 25th to the 27th of August. And the bodybuilding community is excited to know the list of competitors.

Ever since the announcement of the competition last November, fans have been speculating that the 4x Mr. Olympia Jay Culter would be a part of it. And fans have a reason for the speculation, as they are watching Cutler transform his physique rigorously, of late. However, the bodybuilding star has addressed these rumors, and put them to rest once and for all.

Jay Cutler Confirms He is not Competing for Upcoming Masters Olympia Event

I’m gonna go on record right now, I am not competing at the Masters Olympia,” Cutler confirmed on his podcast Cutler Cast. He had a fun conversation with Manager Matt discussing the ‘Fit for 50’ challenge, the upcoming Romania trip, and Jay Cutler Desert Classic in the 72nd episode of the podcast. Matt was quick to add “ Why are you lying, you just told me you were!” and later laughed it off saying he was joking.

Cutler cleared all the rumors surrounding his Master Olympia debut saying, “I am going to Romania as a special guest and I’m not guest posing.” Matt was of the opinion that Cutler should guest pose. Cutler later reiterated, “I never put dye on after I retired.” He says that he is going to Romania’s event as a liaison or a face guy. Cutler also revealed that he is not a part of the picking process for the competition.

The bodybuilding legend says Masters Olympia is leading up to be a pretty good show and they have discussed a few faces that would possibly contest in the event. However, he hasn’t revealed any names of the participants.

In the podcast, Cutler also revealed most of his preps of late are towards his goal ‘Fit for 50.‘ He has cut down on his caffeine intake and planning to follow a very strict nutrition plan to make a full tilt from May. to achieve the best figure since his retirement.

Earlier Cutler’s former coach Chris Aceto rubbished rumors of Cutler’s participation in Masters Olympia.  “Never. Not even a–on a scale of 1-10, it doesn’t register in his brain for doing a masters show or any show. No, I’m sure his take is the same as mine,he said in an interview. And now Cutler has confirmed the same for his fans.
