Setbacks are a part of life. But what matters is how strong one can come back from it. The son of bodybuilding legend Sergio Oliva, Sergio Oliva Jr., suffered serious nerve damage in 2020, which negatively affected his bodybuilding career. After being out of contention for a couple of years, Oliva Jr. is once again looking shredded in his recent update. In the latest picture shared by Oliva Jr. on Instagram, he compared two pictures of himself. In one image, he looked completely out of shape, in the other, he looked competition ready with his chiseled physique.

Oliva Jr. has seen many ups and downs in his career. But his abilities and his belief in them are the core reasons for his incredible transformation. While he shared the comparison pictures from two years apart, he also penned a very thoughtful quote with it. After staying away from competitions for two years, he is now in one of the best shapes of his career. The bodybuilder looked pretty impressive in his current look. In 2020, after competing in Arnold Classic, Oliva Jr. suffered painful nerve damage on his right hand. However, the cause of the injury was bizarre, but the pain was dreadful. Post Arnold, Oliva Jr. suddenly disappeared from all competitions for some time.

And when he came out, he opened up about his injury on social media. He revealed that he already had pain in his arm; however, sleeping on that arm increased the pain tremendously and led to the damage. Despite the setbacks, Oliva Jr. is once again ready to return with the best package ever. However, unfortunately, Oliva Jr. still couldn’t make his comeback yet, because of his recent detention in Dubai, due to an accident.

He wrote as he posted the recent transformation picture, “We may know each others name but not each others story. This is two years difference. Not all “Wins” are rewarded with trophies in the spotlight. #Victory #BestIsYet2Come”

The picture and the quote pumped up the fans’ inspiration as they complimented Oliva Jr. for his hard work.

The fans expressed their sense of motivation about the post

As the fans saw the post, they felt motivated, and at the same time, they praised the dedication and hard work put behind by Oliva Jr. While agreeing with what Oliva Jr. said, bodybuilding superstar Flex Lewis also commented on the post. He wrote, “People have no idea what that mindset takes to get back on the horse let alone win the race. Proud of you bro!!!”
