Joven Sagabain became the first professional bodybuilder from the Philippines to compete in Mr. Olympia. Joven replied, “The number one issue is the budget of athletes. This career really needs funding to sustain your needs like nutrition, supplements, gym memberships, etc. We also have very limited competition opportunities that can qualify us for Mr. Olympia.”
Bodybuilding is one of the sports that need massive guidance and high requirements to compete and succeed. Whether it be types of equipment, trainer, or an extensive diet, everything has to be managed well. Especially if one needs to compete on a giant level, such as Mr. Olympia.

The first-ever Filipino homegrown Olympian will be showing his contention on 17th December. Earlier this year, he won Muscle Contest Philippines Pro Show 2022 to qualify for his maiden appearance on Mr. Olympia’s stage.
