The Austrian Oak has given many memorable moments to his fans. And a professional NBA player recently highlighted one such legendary sequence from the film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Milwaukee Bucks star, Brook Lopez grabbed the attention of the fans as he drew an unexpected comparison between Arnold’s iconic scene from True Lies with a fending-off shark.

‘True Lies’ is an action-comedy movie released in 1994, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. The legendary bodybuilder plays a spy who tries to stop a terrorist organization from carrying out a devastating attack on the United States.

Brook recently appeared for a podcast of AntetokounBros TV and an interesting segment appears when the host tries to give some tips for hitting the shark in the fin and eyes region. However, the host further justified it by saying that the trick has been tested previously. “Someone’s beat up the shark”, he said.

The unusual comparison came after Lopez was seen discussing what it feels like to see a shark in the ocean. “It’s like being on the roof and you see a triller, you’ve nowhere to go”, the host said. The rooftop reference suddenly reminded Lopez of the iconic scene from Schwarzenegger’s movie. “Your simile just made me think of a scene where the terrorists are being chased by Arnold Schwarzenegger through the city and the terrorist is on motorcycle and Arnold Schwarzenegger rides a horse”,  Lopez explained to the host in the podcast.

He further explained how both the terrorists and Schwarzenegger take elevators and end up on the rooftop. The scene captures a similar reaction to what the host mentioned where terrorists had no place left to go. It is a classic example of the over-the-top action and humor that defined many action movies of the 1990s. Although, the topic drifted from the goal, learning defense techniques against sharks is very important. Especially after the recent horrific accidents that are happening across the globe
