Arnold Schwarzenegger was a pioneer who helped bring the sport of bodybuilding to the mainstream. However, his son Patrick Schwarzenegger enjoys being a sports fan rather than actually getting his hands dirty. Basketball is among the sports Patrick loves the most and is a die-hard fan of the Los Angeles Lakers. In fact, the 29-year-old often posts his opinions on the goings on in the NBA, including some wild predictions, on Twitter.

In his latest post, Patrick posted on Twitter about LeBron James. He is among the many fans going berserk after James carried the Lakers to a massive victory in overtime against the Memphis Grizzlies to clutch Game 4 yesterday. The 38-year-old Lakers icon also broke a longstanding record in the process.

Basketball is a physically taxing game that requires mastery of stamina and vertical jumping ability. Hence, basketball is among the sports where younger athletes often have a physical advantage over older ones. However, some athletes have defeated age and continued to perform at the highest level. LeBron James did just that in his game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The record-breaking NBA star came through for his team when they needed him the most. The 38-year-old was instrumental in forcing overtime and scored late in OT to clutch a 3-1 lead in game four of the Western Conference against the Grizzlies. “Insane,” wrote Patrick Schwarzenegger as he retweeted a Barstool Sports post. However, his praise for the Lakers star didn’t end there.

“My knees hurt after a long walk and this guy playing 48 minutes at 38 years old,” wrote the actor. But the glory of King James didn’t end with a terrific Lakers win.

James ended the night with 22 points, 7 assists, and 20 rebounds, breaking another longstanding NBA record. According to the official NBA Twitter page, “LeBron James (38 years, 115 days old) becomes the oldest player in NBA history to record 20+ points and 20+ rebounds in a Playoff Game. Wilt Chamberlain (36 years, 262 days old) set the previous record on May 10, 1973.”

Interestingly, Patrick Schwarzenegger’s previous prediction is inching toward fulfillment.

The eldest son of Arnold Schwarzenegger made a wild prediction in March

On March 23, The Terminal List actor posted on Twitter after the Lakers went through a two-game slump and things weren’t looking up. Despite the fans being in a gloomy mood, the 29-year-old made a bold prediction. Patrick wrote, “Lakers winning It all. Seriously, there is no team in the west I’m worried about.”

“Best of 7- we easily got It,” he added. While his prediction seemed wild, the Lakers lead the series 3-1. “Might be the most undervalued future bet ever,” Schwarzenegger tweeted. It seems the 29-year-old might be on to something. What do you think? Will Partick Schwarzenegger’s prediction come true? What did you think about LeBron James’s performance?
