Arnold Schwarzenegger and LeBron James are two of the greats of their respective fields. However, blurring the boundaries of their sport, the two legends have formed a friendship with time. Naturally, when his friend achieved a great milestone in his career, Schwarzenegger did not shy away from sending his good wishes.

A resurfaced video shows how elated Arnold Schwarzenegger was when LeBron James joined another list of A-listers. This time entering the list at the 7th spot. The video featured Arnold Schwarzenegger working out in the gym and recording his congratulatory message for James.

In 2018, LeBron James completed 30,000 career points. He became the seventh person to do so in the history of the sport. The moment was as memorable as it could have been since James scored the 30000th point in the last second of the game. Not only did he achieve the feat and helped his team win the match, but he also became the youngest player to do so.

Soon after the iconic moment, congratulations started flooding in. Bodybuilding legend, Arnold Schwarzenegger sent his congratulations too. In the viral video, Arnie was doing the biceps curl while counting the last few numbers going up to 30000. After doing that, he said, “LeBron you are the champion. Thirty thousand? This is unbelievable. I admire you, you’re the greatest.”

This isn’t the only time, Arnold Schwarzenegger has expressed his happiness upon LeBron James crossing a milestone in his career.

In 2018, LeBron James claimed the 5th spot in the all-time NBA scoring list. He did so by surpassing Wilt Chamberlain, who had occupied the spot before James.

Though Wilt Chamberlain was Schwarzenegger’s friend too, Arnie was happy James was able to surpass him. Schwarzenegger took to his Twitter to congratulate James at the time. Posting a bunch of photos with the basketball player, Schwarzenegger wrote, “Congratulations to @KingJames on passing Wilt for fifth on the all-time scoring list. What a champion. I’m proud of you.”

From 2018 to 2022, LeBron James has moved another three spots on the list. Currently, he ranks 1st on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.
