Talk about the greatest rivalries in Hollywood and the one between Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Sylvester Stallone, will definitely make it to your list. Their acting careers took off during the late 70s with Stallone starring as Rocky Balboa and Arnold playing the role of The Terminator. Subsequently, both of them vied for similar roles during the 80s, which led to strong competition between the duo.

During the 1977 Golden Globe ceremony, Stallone allegedly threw a bowl of flowers at Arnold that led to a rise in tensions between the two. It was a turning point in their relationship.

The rivalry cooled down during the fag end of their careers, when their impact at the box office reduced significantly. At present, the two maintain a strong bond and mutual respect for each other.

Stallone took to Instagram to finally bow down to his long-time rival, Schwarzenegger. Sharing a picture with Schwarzenegger on his official Instagram handle, Stallone said, “I have to admit Conan Sword is definitely Much heavier than Rambo‘s knife!” The two were all smiles as they posed for the picture.

It is not the first time in recent days that Stallone has shared a picture with Schwarzenegger on social media.

Schwarzenegger’s son talks about comparisons to his father

During an interview, the 75-year-old’s son, Joseph Baena, opened up about the pressure of being compared to his legendary father. Talking about this, he said, “The message that I wanted to get across was, there’s a lot of people out there with very accomplished parents… and it’s scary.”

Further, he went on to add, “It’s scary to get compared to these giants, and to have the feeling like you need to live up to these expectations.”
