Dan replied, “Of course, Shaq is plugged in.” For the unversed, Shaquille O’Neal is an American former professional NBA player who now works as a sports analyst on the television program ‘Inside the NBA.’ Despite coming from a different sports background, the NBA star is passionate about the sport and often hits the gym.

Winning the coveted title of Mr. Olympia is every bodybuilder’s dream. Every year men across the nation compete to win Joe Weider’s Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend. The international bodybuilding event is held annually in Las Vegas. Joe Weider incepted the competition as a platform for Mr. Universe winners to help them continue competing.

The first competition was held on September 18, 1965, and since then, the event has been held every year. Larry Scott was the first two claim the title for two years. This year, the event is scheduled to be held in December midweek. The film ‘Pumping Iron’ featured the buildup of the 1975 Mr. Olympia. As the date for this year’s competition is approaching, fans have their eyes glued to the sporting fiesta.
