During a conversation with Muscular Development, Phil provided his unfettered opinion on Mamdouh Elssbiay’s comment. Phil believes in order to prove Big Ramy’s comment true, he must see the both of them together.
Phil Heath’s opinion on Ronnie Coleman and Big Ramy
Winning the Olympia 8 times, Ronnie Coleman has proved himself as the best to compete in Mr. Olympia. Phil Heath shared similar feelings about the King. Heath said, “Ronnie is like Ronnie, like f**k, like that’s funny man”, and throws a shade of laughter in astonishment. He narrates an incident where he saw Ronnie’s guest pose after an Olympia win. Heath’s mouth remained wide open at the sight of the man as if he had seen something otherworldly.

Both then shifted the discussion toward Big Ramy and his chances of his winning this time. The hosts asked Phil if Elssbiay would retain his title and if anybody would vouch for him this time. Phil responded, “You’d be a fool to gamble against the champion who technically looks determined”. Phil believes Ramy’s progress can be traced from the pictures shared on his social media, and they are the same, if not better, from the previous years.
With less than a week to the Mr. Olympia title, the comparison note between various bodybuilders continues. Several big announcements come to the forefront, and this overall drive the hype of the competition (not that Mr. Olympia needs it anymore).
