Patrick Schwarzenegger recently took to Twitter to comment on the interview that’s been raging for the past 24 hours. The interview took place in San Francisco and here’s what Schwarzenegger tweeted about it.

He wrote, “Pretty amazing interview to watch. Wild to watch the difference in Body language & voice/tone as this interview progresses. This poor reporter really came ill-prepared”. For those who haven’t watched the interview yet, BBC reporter Clayton delves into the uncomfortable segment of the interview with seemingly heated questions and interrogations. Musk, who was prepared to the nines, immediately claps back at him.

The segment Clayton delves into deals with the alleged rise of hate speech on Twitter, more so in the current times. As the new Twitter boss Musk, who took over the ownership of the company at a staggering $43 billion in October 2022, faced the nailing questions, Musk seemed in no mood to buy into that. He instead kept on insisting the interviewer to provide a suitable example to back his claim.

Elon Musk doesn’t let the BBC correspondent settle

“There’s not enough people that police this stuff, particularly around hate speech”, said Clayton towards the beginning of the segment. Clayton soon admits that he sees more hate speech when Musk asks him to name at least one instance. Clayton fails to deliver, saying that he hasn’t checked his feed in 3–4 weeks. Musk, then further probes him on the authenticity of his claim. This is where things got interesting and the interview took a spicy turn.

Patrick Schwarzenegger, who often shares interesting tidbits on Twitter, like when he got excited about Jackie Chan’s upcoming role in ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem’, found it rather amusing how the reporter was lost for words at one stage. He believes that he rather came unprepared, which should be a must for interviewing a high-profile personality like Elon Musk.
