Bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver’s eldest son Patrick Shriver is a successful actor in his own right. The 29-year-old started his acting career in 2006 with The Benchwarmers and slowly moved up the ladder. In recent times, he had sort of a mini family reunion on sets, when he starred alongside his brother-in-law Chris Pratt in the Amazon Prime action thriller series ‘The Terminal List’. However, things did not end well for Patrick’s character on that show.

Patrick plays the role of Donny Mitchell, a ‘Special Warfare Operator Second Class’ on the show, which is based on the 2018  novel of the same name by Navy SEAL Jack Carr. After Patrick’s stint ended on the show, Carr was having fun with one of his props on social media. Patrick, amused, left a cheeky little comment under it.

Jack Carr wrote on his Instagram account, “Throwback to when @patrickschwarzenegger lost his head on the set of THE TERMINAL LIST”. In the picture attached, Carr is holding the prop, which is the temple of Patrick i.e. Donny Micthell, with blood splattered over the face. The helmet and the microphone are still attached to it. Several fans have commented below, but the one that calls for attention is from Patrick himself. He said, “Should of given me this as a wrap gift” with a smiling emoji.

It is good to see Patrick having fun with the character after it was killed off from the show. The hit show even found praise from Patrick’s father, none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger. Patrick’s character Donny Micthell was the Alpha Platoon’s youngest member on the show. The platoon of Navy SEALs is led by Lieutenant Commander James Reece, played by Chris Pratt. Pratt leads this series about the commander and his doomed platoon unit to fight off against dark forces who endanger his life.

Patrick was a recurring guest on the show. He only appeared for 3 episodes before his character’s head got chopped off in a brutal scene. The brother and the brother-in-law did share scenes together, one time even in a scene surrounded by other actors with military experience. Pratt has also stated in interviews that he believes Patrick is the perfect fit for the role. He is tough, trains hard, and got the look right.

The Jack Carr-written show will soon return for its second season. Meanwhile, it’s worth noting that Patrick is also making long strides in TV entertainment as he is all set to star in a spin-off series of The Boys. He will play Golden Boy in The Boys.
