Arnold Schwarzenegger has changed many lives with his newsletter in the past few years. The 75-year-old bodybuilding legend is still determined as ever to bring about a healthy change in everyone. And with this in mind, Schwarzenegger has taken yet another step in helping people who aspire for the same, The Pump App. Such is the authenticity of his determination that he even compromised his financial gains from the app to make it more accessible.

“‘You want recurring revenue’, they said. But my goal isn’t revenue”, wrote Arnold Schwarzenegger in his newsletter Arnold’s Pump Club. Schwarzenegger’s Pump App is meant to reach out to a total of 5000-lifetime members first. However, the how was up for discussion between the app experts and him. When Schwarzenegger initially wanted to sell 2,500 lifetime memberships at once, experts feared that it would’ve stopped repeat purchases.
Schwarzenegger was quick to reiterate the true purpose of the app. He wrote, “It’s inspiring a lifetime commitment to fitness and self-improvement”. However, the multi-millionaire was not ignorant of the financial responsibility the app held either. He wrote, “Yes, we want revenue so we can immediately build the next version, and I like when my team makes some money”.
However, Schwarzenegger believed reaching out to more people is the right thing to do. So eventually, they were sold to 2,500 spots. With the membership comes a lot of other perks.
The benefits of the Pump App
“Lifetime memberships come with tickets to next year’s Arnold Classic where we’ll do an app meet and greet,” wrote Schwarzenegger. Members will also get an exclusive T-shirt and a Zoom seminar with Schwarzenegger himself. Sharing his love to all his subscribers of the newsletter, Schwarzenegger wrote, “You guys are part of my positive corner of the internet, so I want to include as many of you as possible”, reinstating the fact that he cared more about the people than anything else.
