Bodybuilding beast Jay Cutler retired from all competitive formats in 2013 and has shifted his focus to nutrition instead. But the 49-year-old still maintains one of the most muscular physiques and one of the coolest personalities ever. He considers his life to be so cool during his youth days, that he used to compare himself to a famous pop star who was wildly popular among fans back then. Today, the multi-millionaire pop star lives in Beverly Hills, California.

In his latest video, Jay Cutler reminisced about his days when he used to compare himself to ‘Baby’ and ‘Let me love you’ star Justin Bieber. Here’s why.

Jay Cutler, in his latest video from JayCutlerTV, is seen walking through his old neighborhood with his friend Dave. He said, “I used to be the Bieber of the neighborhood. Remember when I used to say that”, as Dave laughed. They both had smiles on their faces, as Dave said to him, “You’re still the Bieber”. Cutler politely denies it, saying “No no no”.

Justin Bieber, the Canadian pop star, rose to fame with his hit song ‘Baby’ in January 2010. The 29-year-old multi-millionaire singer, was all but 16 years old then. And the popularity of his songs skyrocketed him to stardom,  making him an immensely popular figure among the youth. It became a badge of honor among everyone to call themselves the ‘Bieber’, which is to indicate they are popular among friends and neighbors.

Jay Cutler was no different. He said, “Maybe people would not understand what the Bieber means”, to which Dave replied, “Justin Bieber. With all the cars and…” at which point Cutler interrupted and said, “All the people hanging around”. Cutler’s immense popularity and lifestyle made him the Justin Bieber of his neighborhood.

Jay Cutler still maintains the same persona and attitude when talking to fellow bodybuilders and replying to his fans. But he believes the party lifestyle he had is no longer around. At age 49, he will return on stage at the Masters Olympia 2023 as a guest and wants to strip down for that.

Jay Cutler may or may not exude the same boyish charm and attitude as Justin Bieber anymore, but his bodybuilding feat lives for eternity.
