In the latest YouTube video by RxMuscle –The Truth in Bodybuilding, Dave Palumbo and Chris Aceto talk about Ronnie Coleman’s bodybuilding career. Palumbo also applauded Coleman for his dedication and love towards the sport. He mentioned the determination with which Coleman still workout every day despite having unimaginable pain. However, Palumbo also shed light on how training at this stage helps Coleman physically as well as psychologically. And no matter what the situation is, he gets his work done, and that made him the champion for eight years.

After listening to Palumbo’s point, Aceto replied, “Well, you know, I 100 percent agree with you. I mean, your goals begin in your head, not with your body.”

To a very extent, sports are played in the mind. It is all about how you plan and handle certain situations. Similarly, when bodybuilders start their journey, he or she makes a map in their mind. Aceto continued, “You spend more time planning. How many hours do you spend, like when you are really into bodybuilding just planning out the park outs? What you gonna do, you know. It’s full consumption of every minute of your day. So, you know, that’s the type of person Ronnie is, and that’s the type of person that, uh, that’s the type of person, for the most part, you have to be in bodybuilding to be successful.”

Further, he explains the reason why he feels bodybuilding is the most difficult sport. He explains, “It’s such a great sport, but it’s so time-consuming. It’s so time-consuming, it’s insane. It’s the only 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Miss Christmas, birthdays, Thanksgiving, vacations, nephew’s parties because you’re trying to be number one. That’s why, you know, it is one of the hardest sports there is simply because of that. It’s all-consuming.”

Aceto has been spilling some hard facts recently. In the same interview, he also spoke against Masters Olympia, which will be taking place in August end.

Aceto shared his stern views on Masters Olympia’s comeback

Masters Olympia is on the way after a gap of eleven long years. The last time it took place was in 2012, when former Mr. Olympia Dexter Jackson won the title. Since then, it has been called off until now. While Palumbo and Aceto talked about the comeback of Masters Olympia, Aceto spoke his heart out on this topic. He said, “Oh God, stop promoting that Masters Olympia. I want to pull the plug on it the more I think of it.”

He didn’t just say it for no reason. He followed his statement with an explanation. Aceto explained, “They don’t have the Masters NBA or the Masters NFL… you know. Major League Baseball.” Aceto exclaimed that if there is a Masters Olympia contest, then only legends have the right to win the title. There’s no point if a new anonymous bodybuilder comes at an older age and wins the Masters.
