Millionaire Bodybuilder “Saw an Opportunity” to Work With an NBA Legend During a Playoff Game in 2015 and Seized It

When it comes to bodybuilding, Ronnie Coleman needs no introduction. The eight-time Mr. Olympia is one of the greatest bodybuilders on the planet. He won consecutive Mr. Olympias from 1998 to 2005. Coleman launched his own supplement product back in 2011. Since then, he has been trying to reach out his product across the world.

The legendary bodybuilder had a locker room meeting with former NBA star Joakim Noah. Coleman was surprised to see Noah using his supplements. He was really happy to know that not only bodybuilders benefited from his products, but also people from different sports.

Real business for bodybuilding legend

Ronnie Coleman Signature Series, or RCSS, has been efficient. The product is being consumed worldwide. Not only by bodybuilders but also by other sports persons and sometimes even celebrities.

“I actually attended a playoff game and had a chance to speak with Joakim as well as his trainer Alex Perris,” Coleman said and continued, “After hearing how important supplements were to Joakim as a staple of his training program and that he actually had been using mine I saw an opportunity for all of us to work together.” He was surprised and delighted to know that the NBA star was using his supplements as part of his training program.

Coleman saw the opportunity of endorsing his product to more people and he grabbed it. He also offered to work with Noah.

“It’s just really cool to see high-profile trainers, athletes, and celebs using my products and loving them,” Coleman chuckled and continued, “It tells me we are doing something right here.” He feels grateful to the people who use his products not only for the name but also for the quality.

The phrase which started it all

Ronnie Coleman was a bodybuilder who was into heavy lifting. During his training, he needed to push himself every time to reach greater heights. 

One day, he was just working out normally in the gym and screaming stuff out of his mouth while training. It was just another normal day for Coleman. Being from a small town, he has always been close to his friends and neighbors, and they call each other “buddy” a lot. And that’s what started the product “Yeah Buddy.”
