“Wow. Pretty Great”, wrote Patrick Schwarzenegger in his tweet after sharing the news update. The primary tweet by Discussing Film read, “Jackie Chan has been cast as Splinter in ?TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTANT MAYHEM?”. Yes, this is true. Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael are back to save the world with their heroic acts. Chan plays Splinter, the mutant rat who lives a stoic life and guides the turtles in their daily life.

The film is being helmed by Jeff Rowe of ‘The Mitchells vs the Machines’ fame and also stars John Cena, Paul Rudd, and Seth Rogen among others. This will be Jackie Chan’s return to voiceover acting after the 2020 film ‘Wish Dragon’. However, fans mainly remember his voice acting for the role of ‘Monkey’ in the Kung Fu Panda movies. He has also voiced for other movies like ‘The Master: A Lego Ninjago Short’, ‘Monkey King: Hero Is Back’ etc.
